Ebonique Buckner, FNP

Mrs. Ebonique Martin Buckner is a board-certified family nurse practitioner. She received her Master of Science in Nursing from University of Mississippi Medical Center in 2019. She attended nursing school at Holmes Community College in Ridgeland, MS. Mrs. Buckner also has a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Master of Public Health, both from Jackson State University and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Mississippi University for Women. Mrs. Buckner has over 6 years of nursing experience in the areas of Orthopedics, Neurology, Cardiovascular, and Med-Surg.

Mrs. Buckner is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., Tau Beta Sigma National Honorary Band Sorority, Inc., and Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. Mrs. Buckner enjoys listening to music, spending time with her family and friends, playing sports, and traveling.

Practice Philosophy

Growing up in Mississippi has enabled Mrs. Buckner to experience, firsthand, the bitter consequences of a poor health care system. The level of adequacy in the health care system has diminished due to a decline in the acceptance of Medicaid and an increase in the uninsured, health disparities, and unemployment rates. Her practice philosophy is improving quality of life and increasing life expectancy for all patients while eliminating health disparities.

Gabriel M. Ibarra, PA-C

Gabriel M. Ibarra is board certified by the National Commission of Certification of Physician Assistants. His professional affiliations include the American Academy of Physician Assistants, Mississippi Obesity Society, The Obesity Society, and the Mississippi Academy of Physician Assistants. Ibarra is a former Director at Large-Central region. He currently serves as President-elect and looks forward expanding the Physician Assistant profession in the great State of Mississippi. He received his Bachelor of Science in Biology and Bachelor of Arts in Biochemistry from the University of North Texas. He earned his Master of Science of Medicine from Mississippi College Physician Assistant School in 2018. Practice philosophy With a strong foundation and drive that started in military service he is committed to provide thorough healthcare. He is bilingual and one of very few providers in Mississippi that provide help for a growing Hispanic population.

Mr. Ibarra’s philosophy is medicine is a practice and an art, my patients make me better because they ask that I provide health solutions to their unique health needs.

Kishina Sanders, FNP

Kishina Sanders started out as a LPN and advanced her career over time to a Family Nurse Practitioner. Once she became a nurse, she knew that she could make a difference in individuals’ lives. Kishina Sanders received her LPN certificate at Co-Lin Community College (2000), Associates Degree in Registered Nursing from Excelsior College (2003), and Bachelors/Masters in Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner (2016) from Chamberlain College of Nursing. She has worked in various practice settings such as Administration, Quality Control, Clinics, Pediatrics, Psych, Med-Surg, Gerontology, and Travel Nursing. Mrs. Sanders accredits her grandmothers and mom for setting the example of helping others. She graduated with High Distinction and is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. She enjoys hands-on care as a provider, as well as seeing positive results of others in meeting their full potential health goals.

Mrs. Sanders believes that health promotion and education are keys in helping individuals to understand their health needs and make good decisions about their lifestyle and treatment options. She believes that success in providing quality of care includes cultural competence, utilization of community resources, and providing safe comprehensive health care.
