I am a strong believer that everyone has a purpose, and being given the opportunity to fulfill your purpose is the greatest fulfillment of life. Over the years, my purpose has evolved from increasing health awareness to increasing self-awareness. By becoming self-aware, your overall actions will change to give you better health, better finances, better relationships, and an overall better life for you and the people in your life.
The constant theme of this book involves self-awareness, and understanding that we can have an impact on many life scenarios. In many instances, we unfortunately accept occurrences in life that are less than optimal. We don’t take personal steps to improve the unfavorable situations, because we don’t believe that we can do anything to achieve improvement.
With the explanations illustrated through factual accounts of my life and the lives of people I have observed, you will better understand the “I can” thought process. You can then act more effectively to change your situation for the better!
My advice to you is to try not to get too excited as you discover how to reach your true potential, and live the life that you have always deserved.
The motivation for the development of the Q Home Workout, a collaboration between James Martin, MS-ACSM Exercise Physiologist and Dr. Quinn, was to provide an exercise alternative for those who did not have access to a traditional gym.
The Q Home Workout offers a “step-by-step” daily workout with illustrations, featuring Dr. Quinn and his patients. In this daily workout, Dr. Quinn illustrates how to use household items (e.g., water jugs and pillows) in place of traditional weights (e.g., dumbbells and barbells) to work specific body parts strategically; to gain the strength and endurance to achieve your optimal level of fitness.
